Since 2015, Coach Richard has ammassed a wealth experience with an array of ages – boys and girls. Richard has coached for Akron Metro Futbol Club and FC Evolution (Everest SC) before joining West Side Stars Soccer Club in 2023. While club soccer is Richard's focus, he has also gained experience as a high school coach, serving as assistant of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School (Boys) (2019-2021, 2023). He also coached as an assistant for both Men's and Women's teams at Hiram College (2021). Coach Richard has been the catalyst in the expansion and rebranding of West Side Stars (Westlake, OH) from a notable and storied club to a prominant force amongst Northeast Ohio.

Coach Richard's passion and specialization lays within player development. "My job is to make sure boys and girls develop into complete footballers, but also to ensure they enjoy the process – what it takes to develop into great players. My goal is to put those 7th and 8th graders in a position to make and play on that varsity team once they reach high school – and to give those high schoolers an opportunity at the collegiate level and , in turn, colllegiate success that facilitates future career opportunities."
